Program Objective:
Indian Institute of Management Amritsar recently concluded a six-day Leadership Development Program titled “Leading in the Next Normal” under the project SAKSHAM initiative of Indian Oil Corporation Limited. The program was offered at their IiPM (Indian Oil Institute of Petroleum Management) Learning Center in Gurgaon from June 12, 2023 to June 17, 2023.
The program was designed keeping in mind the various behavioral competencies identified for the officers of IOCL who will be future torchbearers of the strategic mission of IOCL. Prof. Vartika Dutta developed the program objectives and outcomes in close consultation with the experts from IiPM. The participants were exposed to a wide range of sessions, right from Leading self for excellence to designing the cultural DNA of the organization. The expert faculty member from IIM Amritsar also discussed the various advancements in the functional domains of marketing, finance, supply chain, and analytics in their respective sessions contextualizing these changes in the world's oil and gas and energy space.
The pre-course and post-course evaluations helped the L&D team from IOCL to gauge the desired changes in the attitude of the officers towards the uncertain business landscape and the ambitious plans the organization envisions for its officers.
The participants highly appreciated the program and showed their enthusiastic participation in the in-class discussions, deliberations, and experiential sessions.
